I walked up the driveway to see Linda sitting on the stairs with her hands on her face. She looked up and sighed loudly as he sat next to her.

"What's up?"

"I'm moving out."

"What?"

"I can't live here anymore."

"What happen?"

"It's her, why did she take us in when she's the reason for our family being broken."

"Ma?"

"No, Nicki."

"You mean Ma. Look, she may have been the reason for mom leaving and dad leaving, but she loved us more than they did. Everything she's doing, I bet it's her way of saying sorry, ever thought of that? Anything we want, need or try she's there for us. You're just being an ass and trying to hurt her. Don't you think you've done enough?"

"Whatever, she isn't my real mother."

"Where are you going? You have no-one, but us especially Ma.."

"Especially?"

"Yes, You know Pop didn't take us in as fast as Ma and she did it with open arms and real love more than guilt if you haven't notice. She wasn't there to hurt us, Dad brought her into this."

"She stayed."

"Women love, She loved him just like you love Wendell."

"What I don't..."

"I see how you look at him plus he was your first."

She looked down at her fingers and shrugged. She felt a connection to him, but it wasn't love. If anything she like Williams annoying self more. She leaned on her knee and looked over at him as he stared towards the house.

"Why did you leave?"

"I'm grown, plus I'm ready to settle down on my own. Can't do that in the home with my family."

"You could."

He side eyed her then smirked.

"Sound like someone you don't like right now."

She smiled then shook her head. He put his hand on her knee and shook it peering into her eyes. She fought the tears as they threatened to make an exit.

"She loves you, she just wants you to be safe. She isn't out to stop you from fun, but you caused this by going somewhere YOU weren't suppose to be."

"I know, I told her I was sorry."

"Then you insulted her afterwards."

"Well she was saying I was hoeing!"

"You both were wrong, but you really hit below the belt. She took you into her heart and home and for you to be disrespecting her like this."

She looked back down then put her hands on the step and stood up. She smiled and hugged him tight. She pulled her head back and smiled at him.

"I'm glad you're my big brother. I don't know what I would do if Q was my only brother."

"You'd be dead if it was up to him."

"He's mad at me still?"

"Yeah, but he'll get over it."

"Hopefully soon."

"Why"

"I need to see Fred."

"What? Didn't.."

"I love him Cour, a lot."

"Linda don't go sneaking out to see him."

"I'm not."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

She hooked her pinky with his and they did their promise hand shake. She walked into the house and up the stairs to her parents room. She put her hand on the doorknob and braced herself before pushing it open to see her father laying between her mother's leg. They both looked at her as she stared at them.

"Am I interrupting?"

"We were just talking about you."

"Bad?"

"No."

"Then what?"

She cheered up as she walked over to them as SB sat up after rolling over on to his back. Nic looked her over then watched her sit at the foot of the bed.

"Nic."

"I don't have anything to say, I was just listening to you."

"Mommy, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I said those things to you. I was just angry because you kept asking was I having sex and stuff when I promise on my own life I haven't did anything since William. As far as Fred, he doesn't force me to have sex and a lot of times he is the one that says I need to slow down and even help me apply for more colleges. I just don't want you guys to think bad of me."

She said rambling off while staring at the floor. Nic sat up and grabbed her hand. She looked into her piercing eyes and met her stare. Unlike everyone else Linda would stare back. Nicki liked her boldness, only sometimes. Tears started falling down Linda's face as she lost control of her emotions.

"I'm sorry, I know I hurt you! I didn't mean to, I won't do it again! I won't say it again. I never meant to say that to you..."

"Linda, baby, calm down it's okay."

Nicki wiped at her face, but the tears kept coming as if they wouldn't end. She dropped to her knees in front of her and buried her face into her stomach. Nicki smiled a little at Linda finally showing that she cared enough to cry. She stroked her hair and kissed the top of head and let her get it all out.

Linda rolled over and smiled facing a sleeping Nicki and Aiydan. His little curls were falling in front of his face like Macy's did when she slept wild. She stared at the side her mother's beautiful face as she began talking a loud to herself not thinking that she would be heard.

"I can't believe this lady took me into her home and loved me more than my own parents could ever. She could of had a better life without me and I treat her like shit, but she still loves me and forgives me. Kind of happy dad slept with her. She's our angel, our protector and nurturer...."

She grabbed Nic's hand held it.

"Everything I want and need she goes out her way to get, so dumb how I am. She's my everything and without her, I know I'd be nothing. Thank you Mommy."

"I love you too."

Linda smiled at her response then snuggled into her side.

"Come down for dinner."

"What are we having?"

"Daddy made rice and curry chicken."

"And carrot juice."

Nicki and Macy both made the same disgusted face as they made their way down the stairs. Linda was setting up the table and watching Aiydan drink out of his bottle. Nicki rubbed at her boobs. I'm going to get him that formula stuff cause that breast milk pump hurts my tits. She sat down in the chair next to Linda and watched him in his high chair push around the peas then mash two of them in his hands. He smirked up at her then pushed them in his mouth. Such a smart ass.

"Nicki come here."

"What Safaree."

He didn't say anything, so she got up and stalked to the kitchen. When she stepped into there, he grabbed her waist and placed her on the counter top near the stove. She watched him dip a spoon in a bowl then raised it to her mouth.

"What is it?"

"Try it."

It looked like a dumpling, but she knew it wasn't so she shook her head no. He put it back in the bowl then walked away leaving her on the counter top.

"What is it first?"

"Nothing."

"Safaree, it's not that serious for...."

"I'm ya husband and you act like I'm a kill you or give you something you don't like."

"Did I say that? Don't make shit a big deal when it's not."

"I'm not, get out my kitchen."

"Ass."

He let out a ha then shook his head as she walked out mumbling under her breath. Know who's making it a big deal. He shrugged and pulled the pan of dumplings out the stove. Damn, I need to get in the streets soon. He grabbed his phone and called C Boy.

"Wassup yo?"

"Nigga, Streets this weekend."

"Weekend? No days off?"

"You know how Nic is."

"Family Time?"

"No, her time."

"Damn.. Every sec?"

SB started to answer, but his phone was swiped and hung up by an angry Nic. She looked him over then leaned against the counter top with his phone in her hand.

"So you trying to spend your time in the streets?"

".. Yeah, I'm always here."

"Oh, okay well have fun in NY."

He watched her slam his phone down on the counter then walked out. Damn, I'm dead. He hurriedly grabbed the food trays and carried them into dinning area for dinner.

"Two days is too long for you to be hanging in the streets!"

"The same niggas you were in the game with! Safaree you better not be running the streets again, I'm not playing!"

He shook his head at her as he packed his clothes. She popped her head into the room from the closet to see what he was doing. She watched as he went into his dresser and got four underwear.

"Why are you taking so many underwear if its just two days?"

"I always pack extra, you know this... Why you..."

"Fine, I'm not saying anything else."

"Don't be like that!"

"Be like what?"

"Like you gone let me go and then I have to pay for it when I get back."

"You will."

He sighed loudly throwing himself on the bed. He shrugged having a battle with himself about going. She straddled his lap and pecked his lips over and over.

"Get off me man."

"Stop talking."

"No, you just doing that so I don't go."

"Is that bad? That I want my husband to stay home."

"Yeah, when he's always with you!"

"Oh, okay."

"I don't say anything when you visit your girls."

"That's cause you're with me."

"That's cause you don't want me with my friends."

She crawled off his lap and looked over at him. She pouted and folded her arms cross her chest. He smiled as he sat up then pulled her between his legs.

"It's only two days."

"No more."

"No more."

"No drinking."

"What.. Alright."

He dead faced her. She smiled and pecked his lips. Well while he's here I might as well take advantage of his dick. She smiled as she unzipped his pants. SB shifted as she pulled his pants down.

"You gone miss me after this."

He smiled and helped her strip before they went for rounds of love making.
