All Out

Nicki called up TT, Thembi, Candi and Lauren to go out with her. She needed to hang with her girls because she needed to vent. She pulled up outside of Candi's apartment building along side of Lauren and TT's cars. She sighed then made her way up the two flights of stairs and was met with all the girls hands out for a hug.

"What's going on Nika?"

"TT, I can't.... QJ moving out, Licour is moving out and my baby Linda just got accepted into college, so she's moving out."

"WAIT, Nic bitch. You had us worried cause those GROWN ass kids are moving out? Let me go put my damn wine up!"

The girls laughed as Candi walked out of the living room. Nicki sat with her legs underneath her in the chair across the TV and stared into it even though there was nothing on it. The girls exchanged looks as she chewed on the side of her jaw.

"Can, Gworl, bring those drinks. We home need em' there's more to it."

"Yes! Alright, orange juice or apple?"

"Both honey!"

"He called the other night and said we need to talk."

"Who?"

"Said that it was important and we couldn't do it over the phone."

"WHO BITCH?"

"I'm nervous and I haven't spoken to Faree about yet. I don't know what I'm a do, I don't think it's a good idea to meet him."

"Brim?"

"Derek?"

"Sam?"

"Woah, who's Sam?"

Nicki quickly cut her eyes at Thembi. She held her arms up in surrender. Candi placed the glasses of whatever she mixed on the table then went back and got two pitchers of it. The girls sipped it as she stood there staring.

"What is this?"

"Really this shit is good AF!"

"I want to know who the hell is Sam?"

TT blurted out as she stared into Nic's sadden face. They all turned back to her, but she kept her eyes on the glass in her hand. TT cleared her throat as she waited for Nicki to answer her.

"He's no-one."

"Did you cheat on SB with him?"

She stayed quiet.

"Thembi?"

"Wait, I'm just as shocked as you! I knew nothing about her fucking him! Nic, you serious?"

"No, I didn't fuck him or anything! He's Macy's father."

"WAIT!!"

"But, Marquez?"

"He knew, Sam is his brother."

"I can't believe this shit!"

"Thembi really?"

"Look, Nika asked me to do her a favor and I did it okay!"

"So what's going on with you and Sam does Safaree know?"

"Nothing and hell no! Shit, I don't even know how I'm going to tell him that Marquez wants to meet up!"

"What the fuck he want?"

"I don't know, but I feel uneasy about the situation."

"What he sound like?"

"Like his old self. He was calm and cheery."

Lauren and Nicki exchanged looks a few times as she spoke. Every time Nic mentioned something about her husband Lauren had a slick comment and a jab there. Nicki was getting fed up with her shit and finally just looked directly in her face and spoke to her.

"What's your deal with Safaree, huh?"

"Nothing."

"NO it's obviously something because you been talking shit about him this entire time!"

"Nic calm..."

"NO Speak your fucking mind since you have so much slick shit to say!"

Lauren didn't say anything just leaned back in her chair as they eyed each other,

"Nic, he's still in the game!"

The room grew really quiet as everyone watched her for her reaction. She breathe slowly.

"How you know?"

"Brim and Monique came by my house a few months ago. Told me that he cut Brim's Johnson off and was pimping her until they paid his money back."

She let out without a breath. Nicki nearly melted into her seat as she felt her bones give out on her. How could he? He promised! She grabbed her purse and keys then stood to walk out the door, but TT grabbed her arm. They communicated through eye contact. Nicki shrugged her worried look off and raced out the house to her car.

QJ and Maia were getting into his car when Nicki pulled up. Maia walked up to her as she got out the car, but Nic just brushed past her. Maia looked at QJ as he shrugged his shoulders. They both followed behind her as they heard her yelling Safaree's name with anger. He came racing out of Aiydan's room with a smile on his face which faded fast seeing her face.

"Was..."

"So you're back in the game huh?"

"WHAT? Hell no!"

"DONT FUCKING LIE TO ME!"

"I'm not lying, I haven't been in contact with drugs since we got married!"

"So now you just gone keep lying?"

"Baby, I promise on my life...."

"Well DIE!"

He stepped back a little at her words coming out harsh. What the fuck did those hoes tell her? He started down the stairs as she began to walk back out the door. Maia jumped to the side as they both bum rushed her out the door way.

"Nic, don't do this! Where are you getting this?"

"Don't worry about it just know that Brim and Monique are looking for you!"

"What? Nic, talk to me dammit."

He said snatching the car door from her. She tried to pull it back closed, but he held on to it. She hit the steering wheel as the tears filled her eye lids then overflowed. He bent down in front of her and grabbed her chin making her look at him.

"Look I don't know which one of your hating ass friends told you that I'm still doing that, but they lied. As for Brim and Monique I handled them how I know how to handle them and how they deserved to be handled. Got my money back."

He shrugged as she looked over his face.

"I believe you and don't talk about my friend like that, she's just looking out for me."

"Naw, she just fucking hating."

He said not taking back what he meant. He knew it was Lauren, but he wouldn't let her know cause then she'd stop him from saying what he wanted to say to her. Nosy ass friends don't be knowing shit.

Nicki sighed as the last few items of Licour's left the house. She held Aiydan on her hip as made her way into the empty room that was once his and fought her tears. They grow up so fast. She looked down at Aiydan and smirked.

"Don't grow up."

"Ma Ma."

"Yes, baby."

"Da Da."

She followed his finger to Safaree and smiled. He held her phone out and cleared his throat at the message he opened. She looked up then back at the message. She sighed then placed Aiydan on the floor and watched him crawl up to the window.

"Faree, I was going to tell you... I just didn't know when."

"No secrets remember?"

"We just said that two days ago."

"And I asked if you had something to fucking tell me."

"I didn't at the time."

"So this just slipped your mind?"

"Yeah, it's not a big deal."

"So going to see some nigga behind my back ain't a big deal, but me getting a dance from a stripper, who I can't even touch, is a big deal? Alright."

He grabbed her hand and slapped her phone in it then went and picked Aiydan up. Nicki shook her head as she replied to Marquez's text then watched SB storm past her out of the room mumbling.

"Shaan, lets go see TeeTee Neequa."

"So you're just going to leave me here."

"You got legs that can walk."

"Faree, I was going to tell me."

"You meet him in two days, when was you gone let me know in advance? You wasn't cause you know I work Saturday. Trying to fucking play me."

"I'm not! I just needed an excuse to cancel on him."

"Right."

He replied nonchalantly as he placed Aiydan in his car seat. Nicki got in the car on the passenger side and looked o ET at him when he got in the car. He pulled out the drive way and header for his sister's house to get Maddy, Layshun and Macy.

"Faree, I was nervous! Just finding out he isn't Macy's father and now he want...."

"Huh? Macy's father?"

"You know when we went to go get her checked out because of her skin disease. You know I don't have that in my family and the doctor said that the child's parents usually has trances of it in their DNA well.... Marquez doesn't, but his brother does."

She said quieting down as he just sat at the green light trying to wrap it around his mind.

"So now, we have...."

"Marquez is going to tell her."

"That's why he been texting you?"

"That and whatever else he wants to talk about..... I'm not sure I can do this."

"I'm right here with you just let me in, let me know."

"I'm sorry."

"It's alright, I love you and feed your son."

She smiled then reached back and grabbed Aiydan out of his car seat and fed him while SB went in got the kids.
