Meet Up

Linda walked into the house around 9:30 with her a box and a big bag. She tossed them on the sofa in the living room then walked slowly up the stairs to her parents room. She first looked into Aiydan's room, but he wasn't in there, so she looked at her watch and noticed it was kind of late so he probably was in bed with them. She walked out of his room to be scared half to death by Maddy standing there staring at her with a hard look.

"You were supposed to be here at six."

"I lost a track of time..."

"No, Fred just the only one that gets your time."

"Shut up Maddy, I always have time for you guys."

"Yeah when we're all busy and stuff to do like sleep."

She stated crossing her arms and falling to one hip. They shared a stare down until Linda shook her head and walked around her. She was almost to the door when Maddy spoke up again.

"They're not here, guess you didn't pay attention to the family car not being in the driveway."

"You should of.... Why are you so against me?"

"Why are you such a liar?"

"Liar?"

"The only reason you're moving out is because you're pregnant."

"What?"

"Fred told Licour the day you told mom you're moving out. I heard the whole phone conversation. You're not even supposed to be seeing him and now you're pregnant, but congratulation on being able to lie to mom and dad."

"I'm not lying to them, I am going to school actually I got accepted before I found out I was pregnant, thank you while you're all in my business."

She stated walking past Maddy. She looked her small frame over and chuckled. Lil bitch always thinks she knows something, she should stay in a child's place. She rushed down the stairs and jumped off the last stair heading towards the living room.

"Oh, and another thing... I got an abortion did you hear that part of the conversation? Fred paid for it because I'm not ready to be a mother. Nosy lil bitch!"

She hollered as she grabbed her things off the sofa and walked back out the door. She got in Fred's car and drove down her old block and sighed loudly as memories flooded her mind. Where is Linda? Who am I? She sat at the stop sign staring into the distance for a few minutes just thinking. I'm seventeen. Why is my life like this? Why can't shit just be easy?

Nicki sat speechless as Sam walked out the door. Safaree had been left her side and now she sat across from Marquez and Lily An. She tried to think of what just happened the past our, but everything wasn't registering, everything felt out a place and everything was wrong. She grabbed her clutch to go find her husband who had left an hour ago. We rode together please just be in the car. She walked through the doors and out into the still wind and looked around for her husband. She began walking towards their car and sighed sadly seeing him sitting against the van.

"Faree?"

"Why? Just please explain it."

"We need to focus on us, our family and he's already talked to the kids about it."

"You knew he was talking to them?"

She slowly nodded her head as he pushed off the van and went to her side for her to get it. She slowly walked towards him and stood on her tip toes and kissed his lips. He didn't move a muscle or reject her. She started to deepen the kiss, but he pulled away.

"Faree.. Please don't.."

"Get in the car."

She glanced at him then got in the van. She jumped when the door slammed against the van. I know I have to hear his mouth the entire ride. She watched him get in and slammed his door then jammed the key in the ignition and started the van.

"I don't want to talk. At all."

He stated as they pulled out of the restaurant parking lot.

SB walked behind Nicki as she stepped up on the curb and entered the restaurant they were meeting Marquez at. He was cool, but didn't feel like being there. Nicki needed him though, so he sucked it up and got dressed in what she picked out. He looked down at the light pink V neck paired with some black fitted jeans that he hated cause he had to tuck his penis. Nicki looked back to see his face scrunched up while looking down at his clothes.

"You look nice, Daddy."

"No I don't, squeezing my dick."

"Then go change then."

She huffed at him still complaining about the pants she chose. She smiled on the inside when walked up behind her and followed her to the table. She liked the pants, so she could be distracted by his penis as Quez talked about whatever he needed to say. Hope this nigga say what he has to say, so we can get back to our kids.

They sat down at a back table against a wall. Nicki huffed seeing Lily An walk in all smiles next to Marquez. Bitch. She thought throwing her legs into SB's lap and faced him. He rubbed her thighs to keep her calm seeing her become upset as they walked over. Lily An extended her hand out to her, but Nic just looked it up and down then turned back to SB and watched him shake her and Quez's hand. She punched his chest and squinted her eyes. He grabbed at his chest then pushed her legs into the floor.

"Nic, Safaree.. Glad you guys came."

"Um huh."

"I guess we'll get straight to the point."

"Best thing."

"Can we eat first?"

Lily An spoke up as she waved a waitress over. Nicki rolled her eyes and sat back against the chair staring at them hard across the table. Bitch, shouldn't even be here. Had I know this bitch was coming, I'd a stayed home. Nicki thought not really hungry since her and SB had eaten before they left the house.

"Okay, can I have the shrimp pasta and a Margarita with extra alcohol."

"And I'll have the steak burger, onion rings and a coke."

Nicki grabbed SB's menu and handed it to the waitress before he could fix his mouth to talk. She glared over at him in return he put his head down and pretended to be texting. She sat up straighter in her seat and eyed them.

"Speak."

"What you want to know first?"

"Macy! Why the fuck didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't think she would get that skin disease, we didn't get it."

"Okay, but you guys have it! Her hair started falling out in chunks then you tell me "Oh I'm not her real father.""

"What?"

"Faree not right now!"

"Explain!!"

"Nic, calm your voice please."

"NO WHAT'S GOING ON?"

SB spoke up calmly as he placed his hand on her thigh. She looked over at him then back to Quez.

"Explain."

"I went to get your eggs that day and couldn't get off okay. The next day I went to do the same and still couldn't. My sperm count was low.... So I asked my brother to fertilize the egg for me."

"Wow, goes to show you shouldn't have been doing it you ass!"

"Neeki, calm down talk...."

"Bitch, STFU! I don't give a fuck about you sitting here... Your two cents should be kept to your fucking self!"

Nicki snarled at Lily before the waitress came over placing their drinks in front of them. Nicki looked at her phone to see 8:45 and sighed loudly thinking if Aiydan had been fed already. She was snapped out of her thoughts as Marquez told Safaree that he wanted to take the kids off their hands.

"What?"

"Oh, I was wondering if we could have custody of our kids again...."

"No!"

"Nicki, Maddy and Layshun are still our kids and we want a second chance."

"No, you don't get a second chance!"

"Why not? Wouldn't you want to make things better with your kids while you can? We were having trouble, we messed up, but we've always loved our kids."

Lily interjected. SB was heated. How the fuck these loser ass mother fuckers going to come in here explaining why they deserve a second fucking chance? They don't deserve shit! We raised the first three we might as well finished with the last two!

"No, no..."

"Neeki, please we've honestly changed, we want the best for them just like you and plus you guys are young and need to start you guys own family. Don't you want that? Let us just get our kids back and finish were you left off. You can come visit when ever."

Nicki was quiet thinking as SB sat quiet staring at the side of her face. His heart fell when she shrugged her shoulders.

"Look, I don't care if you've changed that..."

"Maddy and Layshun want to be with us."

"No they don't... Who..."

"I asked them last week and they believe that their ready to come home and are greatly appreciative of what you've done for them and want to give us a second chance. Nicki, please?"

Nicki quickly pulled her phone up and pressed two and waited for an answer. Maddy answered the phone cooing at Aiydan then cheerily said wassup mommy.

"Maddy, be honest with me."

"Always."

"Are you ready to live with your birth parents?"

The phone got quiet. Nicki silently let a few tears fall before hanging up.

"When ever you guys are ready for them come pick them up."

Nicki reached out for an angry SB, but he pushed her hand hard against the table and stormed out.

They reached the house and neither moved to get out the car. Nicki stared out the window while SB leaned forward with his head against the steering wheel. Nicki was numb to all the feelings, emotions and muscles in her body. SB was hurt and sad at her just giving up.

"Faree, I'm sorry."

"Ha."

"You'll understand later."

"Why didn't you tell me about Macy?"

"I mean..."

"No why didn't you tell me you met with that fucking bastard of a father of hers?"

"I didn't want you getting upset..."

"So doing the shit behind my back.... Alright Nicki."

He chuckled opening his door and getting out. He stalked to the front door leaving Nicki in her thoughts. How the hell am I going to fix us now?
