Secrets & Lies?

[Two Months Later]

Safaree moved them out of the house into a nice townhouse for their small family. He kept the old house and rented it out to people. He even went back to night school to get certified to be a landlord. Nicki stayed home with their children and took care of them most of the day and did SB's pocket keeping. Macy and Aiydan had become closer as he began to walk more and more stable. She had even taught him how to write the letter A, which Nicki loved before he started writing an A all over the walls.

Nicki pulled Aiydan towards her body as he moved around on the king sized bed. He grabbed her shirt and pushed back then cried out for Safaree. Nicki looked towards the bathroom as he stepped into the doorway in his briefs. Nicki watched as he came over to the bed and picked Aiydan up then leaned forward and kissed her lips.

"Why are you up?"

"You need to be up too. Today, parent day at Macy's school."

"Oh, sh..."

"Nic."

"I forgot. I told the girls they could come here."

"I hope you not talking bout Candi and them."

"Yes."

She answered frowning at him still being mad about the house party they threw in the old house. He looked her over then went into the bathroom to get Aiydan ready for the day. He sat him on the sink and took off his clothes then grabbed his lil tooth brush and brushed his gums. Nicki walked in the bathroom behind them in the nude and put her hand up his shirt and scratched his back while he washed the baby up in the sink.

"Are you going to stay mad?"

"I'm not mad... They disrespected me."

"You said to have fun..."

"We had this argument two weeks ago.."

"You showering with me?"

"No, I just got out thirty minutes before you woke up."

"So.... You can..."

"Get in the shower."

She huffed pulling her hands out of his shirt and walking to the shower. He watched her through the mirror and smirked when she caught him looking and flipped him off. He picked Aiydan up and walked down the lil hall to Macy's room and pulled her up out of bed. She wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder. He carried them both back to their bedroom and laid them on the bed then tucked them in for an extra hour until they had to get to Macy's room. Nicki walked into the bedroom wet from head to toe. He looked her over and shook his head and she smirked and walked out the bedroom.

"I'm taking her to school."

"Why can't she take the school bus?"

"We're going there anyways plus she don't like the bus anyways."

"And? It's not about what she likes."

"Really?"

"Really."

He grabbed Aiydan and Macy's clothes out of their walk in closet and put them on the night stand then grabbed his clothes and laid them on top of theirs. He laid down and closed his eyes to take a nap. Nicki stood inside their walk in closet trying on different things until she settled with a navy blue curve fitting dress with white flats and tan leggings. She walked out the closet to see him sleeping and put her clothes on top of his then crawled into the bed and laid on top of him. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.

Macy smiled hard as she held Nicki and Faree's hands in her hands and pulled them down the hall to her class. She loved parent day because they always showed up and matching which was her favorite part. Parent Day was just something the school put together twice a month so parents got to know each other, teachers, staff, their kids friends and etc. Nicki thought it was cute and loved that her husband always made it their business to be there. She looked over at him in his Navy blue V neck with his Khaki pants and white vans, that she made him wear.

"Hi, Samuels Family."

"Hey, Mrs. Anderson."

"Macy show your mommy and daddy your paintings."

"Paintings?"

"I really want you guys to see them because they're really good for a six year old."

Macy went to her cubby with her Navy blue baby doll dress on and carefully pulled her paintings out of it. She held them out in front of her like they were still wet. Nicki laughed to herself at how cutesy she was. She placed them on the table and Safaree stared down at the brown figures who had very detailed faces even dimples and freckles.

"That's Maddy, Layshun and..."

"Granny."

"Why is she over there?"

"Because we don't like her and she don't like us."

"MayMay!"

"Aiydan."

She pointed to the picture next to it that showed SB, Nic, Aiydan, herself and some guy. Nicki stared at the man then looked at Macy who stared at SB. He got up from the lil table and walked out.

"Excuse me."

"Come on Aiydan."

"Macy be careful."

"I will Mommy."

Nicki rushed out after SB, who was footing it to the door. She sighed starting to run after him as he disappeared outside of the building. She pushed the door open and he stood outside against the flag pole clenching his fist and jaw. Nicki knew she couldn't lie to him and didn't plan on it.

"I take her to go see him."

"For what? He didn't even... Fuck it."

"Faree, please listen to me first!"

"For what? We talked about this shit before we moved and you still did it anyways!"

"But that's her dad. She should at least have a chance to know him as long as he wants to see her."

"Behind my back? Alright, continue to do you."

"I will."

He chuckled then got himself together and walked back in the building with her following close behind. She grabbed his hand and leaned into his side kissing his arm. He stopped and pushed her back into the wall and kissed her cheek. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his back.

"How long do yawl visit!"

"An hour after she gets out of school."

"When you text me?"

"Yeah, we meet at different kids areas and he helps her with her homework and then they play games."

"Why sneak and do this shit?"

"See how you're acting now."

"That's cause..."

"And if I had told you it would of been worse. Trust me?"

"Too much."

"Then you have nothing to worry about."

She smirked the grabbed his hands before the other parents got to the school and took their seats. They walked back in and smiled at their kids rolling around on the floor. Macy had changed into her changing clothes and her dress hung up in her cubby. SB grabbed their chairs and sat down knowing that Nic would sit on his lap anyways he put his legs in the other chair in front of him.

"Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Samuels for the donation to the girls cheer leading team and our little league football team... Oh, also the music and band funds."

The classroom clapped as the teacher thanked the parents for their deeds. Mrs. Anderson then ordered them to take their seats and let the kids take over with their little speeches and stuff. Macy went first which surprised everyone in the room knowing that she was shy. Nicki sat up straight in Safaree's lap and bit at her bottom lip nervous. SB reached up and pulled her lip out of her mouth and kissed her back to calm her. She looked back at him and pecked his lips quickly before looking back to Macy. She pulled out a large drawing and put it on the board with Mrs. Anderson's help.

"Family... Mrs. Anderson said family are the people who are always here for you even when you're bad and good. This is my family even though everyone left, but Mommy, Daddy and Aiydan."

"MayMay!"

He squealed and she smiled big as he crawled over to her. He sat up and looked up at her. Everyone awed as she continued.

"Mommy always hugs me at night and out on my cream so I don't scratch. Daddy is strong and picks me up and says he'll always take care of us. Aiydan is my baby brother and sucks his own feet..."

Everyone laughed as her face turned up then she giggled as he laughed with everyone else.

"Then there's my big brothers, Marquez, Licour and Layshun. They all left, but they visit and bring me candy!"

She smiled big then pointed to two girls.

"This one is Linda and this one is Maddy. I miss Linda, she never come by anymore, but she sends mommy letters and says she loves me. Maddy teaches me how to be a girl and to never get dirty."

She smiled big then curtsy for everyone as they clapped. She rushed over to her parents and wrapped her arms around them as they embraced her. Nicki kissed all over her face leaving her pink lipstick on her cheeks, nose and forehead. SB smiled as she giggled and fought to get out of Nic's grip on her.

"Nic, stop yo."

"Okay."

She bounced in his lap then swayed side to side into penis that was laying against his thigh. He pushed her up, but she forcefully sat down then leaned back into him and whispered into his ear.

"Don't move him now."

"Stop... Nic."

He dead faced her moving around in a circle on his lap then looked back at him with her finger in her mouth. He pushed her into the seat next to them and grabbed Macy. She pouted as Aiydan crawled over to them and sat down on her feet and they watched the rest of the kids present.

"Nicki what are you doing?"

"What does it look like?"

"You need SB to come dick you down."

"Shut up, I don't."

She lied as her friends made their way into her bedroom where she was blowing out candles and putting away her toys. They watched her as she nearly stomped a hole through the floor.

"Where he at anyways?"

"He took Macy and Aiydan to see his sister."

"NY on a Wednesday? Don't they have school?"

"They're not going back until Monday. Aiydan's daycare center has some flu going around and Macy just isn't going."

"Why didn't you go?"

"He's supposed to be back this morning, but..."

She looked over at the clock that read two pm and rolled her eyes.

"Nicki..."

"What Lauren?"

"I think...."

"I really..."

"HE'S DEALING DRUGS AGAIN!"

The room got still as Nicki stood staring at her friend in disbelief. He wouldn't. She grabbed her phone and walked out the bedroom into the kitchen. The girls all looked at Lauren for answers.

"You knew then and didn't say shit?"

"Look, it would've just made me seem bitter as fuck."

"So lets get this straight... He attempted to kill Monique and Brim?"

"Yes, remember I told you Monique came to my house bloody and crying cause she couldn't find him..."

"Nicki is really flipping out yawl."

They all rushed out the room and up the stairs into the family room. Nicki stood holding a knife and cutting through his clothes as she cried. They stood back and tried to calm her.

"Nika, baby this isn't the..."

"Shut the hell up! It's one thing for him to fucking kiss another bitch, but it's completely fucking different for him to go back to his former life like we don't mean shit to him!"

She screamed as she stabbed his shoes. She walked over to his nightstand and pulled out a lighter.

"Nic!"

"Lauren don't fucking talk to me."

"Don't burn his stuff inside the house!"

She laughed cold heartedly and continued snatching his clothes down and putting them in a pile. I'll burn this shit down with us all in it. She thought.

He walked into the house and shrugged at it being quieter than he thought it would be since her friends were suppose to be over. He headed up the stairs to the family room were he heard talking and Nicki crying through her mumbles. He stepped into the room to see his clothes on the floor and a knife in her hand. They looked back to him and smacked and mumbled.

"What the hell?"

"Why didn't you answer your phone? Where you been?"

"I was in NY... Shopping and what the hell is wrong with you?"

"YOU! So you messing with drugs again!"

"What? Hell no!"

"Why would my friend fucking lie?"

"I don't fucking kn...."

Nicki charged at him with the knife and grabbed her arm and snatched it out of her hand then threw across the room floor. She snatched away from him and punched him in the face making his lip bleed. He sucked in his lip then stepped back to calm his self.

"Alright, believe what you want. I'm out. Go fuck your friend who's checking for me and don't know shit!"

He shouted then threw the bags at her. She looked back at them then broke down again as she looked down into the bags. She threw them on the floor and went after him, but he was gone.
