Continue Her Games

Nicki was humored by SB's attitude with her. She did little stuff to piss him off. She was now digging in her plate of wings and eating his curry goat. He sat next to her staring at her annoyed. She pulled on his shirt and held the spoon full of rice to his mouth. He bucked his eyes then tried to roll them looking like a fool. She shoved the spoon in his mouth and kissed him.

"Nic can I get my food back."

"Nope. You should of brought me some too."

"You asked for chicken wings."

He dead faced her as she shoved more good in his mouth. He's so cute all upset. Andrea came into their bedroom and laughed at the sour look on his face.

"Mama Nicki, we need to talk."

"I'm all ears."

"Ummm..."

"Get out, Safaree."

He went to grab his plate when she hit his hand and shook her head. He groaned then stomped out the room. Nicki smiled watching him leave mumbling and such. Andrea looked at her and raised an eyebrow as to why she thought it was so funny.

"What girl? Tell me what's going on."

"Please don't think I'm stupid, but I... I.... Jeez."

"I won't judge you. Tell me."

"I'm still in love with Marquez. I can't get him off my mind, but I just keep thinking of the many different females he has had since me."

"Have you talk to him?"

"I can't even look at him."

Nicki stuffed her mouth with curry goat, rice and some chicken. She looked over at her and pointed to the large drink that was SB's. She drank half of the full cup.

"Nicki, really?"

"Hold up. SAFAREE!"

"What?"

"Come here."

"Yes."

"Here eat this for me."

He looked at the half eaten curry goat, six wings and the plate full of rice. He frowned then walked back out. Ugh, he is being mad difficult. He know he want to be in here with me. She grabbed the remote and threw it at his back.

"Stop being an ass and come eat."

"Now you gone force me to eat?"

"Fine then starve."

"I will, you don't give a damn anyways."

"You didn't give a damn before!"

"You keep bringing up the past! I been trying to make it up, but you're being a bitch."

Nicki threw the covers back causing all the food to fall on the floor. Andrea stood back against the wall opposite of them as she watch Nic approach SB and slap him across the face. He grabbed his cheek as he sucked in air.

"What the fuck?"

"You take that shit back!"

"Hell no, who the fuck you slapping like that Onika, but..."

She swung on him, but this time he grabbed her arm and slung her towards the bed. She was shocked as her hands fell into the bed. QJ came in with Maddy and Linda behind him. Nicki faced him again and threw a jab to his face. He ducked and backed up trying to get away from her. QJ grabbed her and pulled her back.

"Get the fuck out Safaree!"

"I can't wait until fucking March. Matter of fact, I'll just abort it! You don't want it and I don't want to have your kids!!"

She screamed as he stood against the wall. Maddy was a mess and hugged him as he tried to get out of the house. Nicki smirked as she pushed QJ off her and went after SB. He was at the bottom of the stairs when she stepped into the hallway.

"You're fucked up, you know that?"

"Now you know how I felt! Being pushed away by own fucking husband! You wanted me to get an abortion when it wasn't yours, so what's so different now."

She watched as Maddy raced down the stairs to him. She jumped in his arms and cried.

"Please don't leave Daddy."

"Maddy get the fuck down."

"Daddy, please work it out."

"MADDY!"

"Leave me alone!!"

Nicki stormed down the stairs as SB backed up and carried Maddy out back. She followed behind them and fussed at Maddy yelling at her. SB and Maddy went to the game room and locked the door. He put her down and moved her hair out of her face.

"Mad Mad, I'm not leaving, I just need some time and your mom does too."

"Please don't leave.... Mommy's mean when you leave."

"Just stay out of her way and stop talking back."

"Maddy, baby, Mommy's sorry."

"Look, she's sorry, go talk to her."

"Come with me."

He looked sad as he pulled the door open as Nicki rolled her eyes at him and hugged Maddy. Maddy held her tight. Nicki cried into her hair as she began to feel bad for yelling at her.

"I'm so sorry baby."

"Um huh."

"I am."

SB crept out and went around the front to his car. He sat in the car and looked at the picture of Nicki in front of his gas meter. Man, I can't believe she'd do that to me. I hurt her that much? She would really kill our baby. He laid back and fell asleep while crying.

"Where is your mother, Darling?"

"In the kitchen cooking."

"Where is your Daddy?"

"I don't know. Him and Mommy had a big fat fight and I haven't seen Daddy since.... Yesterday."

Macy told her Granny. Mama Carol sighed and asked her to give Nicki the phone. She walked into the kitchen and handed her the phone.

"Hello."

"Onika, what's going on?"

"What are you talking about, Ma?"

"Macy told me you and Faree got into an argument."

"We did, but that's..."

"Nicki explain right now."

"He called me a bitch and pushed me."

"Oh, Nicki are you okay baby?"

"Yes, we're fine."

She sighed thinking about the half truth she told her mother, but she didn't feel like having a conscious right now. She wanted to continue to fuck with his head. They talked for a good thirty minutes before hanging up. She looked in the doorway and saw him seat at the table playing with some stones.

"I guess you got my message."

"Yeah, what you want?"

"Are you hungry?"

"What do you want?"

"Don't be so cold."

He laughed and shook his head as he put the stones into the band. He put his magnifying glass over his eye and steady the stone in then the other next to it. Nicki put a plate of food in front of him and sat down.

"I have a question."

"What?"

"If the baby wasn't yours would you have been okay with me aborting it?"

"That's your body, your decision."

"Is that how you feel now?"

"Hell no."

"Then give me a real fucking answer."

"You getting it anyway, so what I'm answering for."

Nicki wanted to slap him again, but she refrained from doing so. He is so fucking stupid. She got up and left the table, but not before hurting him some more.

"Are you going with me to the Abortion Clinic?"

He looked up then slammed his fist down into the table. He stood up and glared at her then brushed past her mumbling.

"Answer my question."

"No! NO! Hell NO! Fuck NO!"

"You could at least say bye to it."

"Fuck you Nic!!"

She turned towards the bedroom and chuckled at his anger. God, this is so funny. He looked walked outside and sat on the porch. Just give me a sign that this is just her fucking with me. He looked down as he felt a small hand is back.

"Daddy, maybe it's time for you to just cry."

"Maddy, your mom isn't joking when she says that stuff."

"Maybe she isn't, but if you show her you care maybe she won't do it."

"Ha!"

"Will you try for me? I want a new brother or sister. Macy's too dramatic."

He laughed empty hearted. It hurt him to laugh, but some how Maddy made him smile. She laid her head on his lap and messed with his chains. He kissed her forehead and looked out at the dark sky. He was thinking. His mind was blank besides the sadness in his home. What am I to do?
