Let the Games Begin

Nicki sat in the booth with Macy on her right side and SB on her left. They read over the menu while they waited for their drinks to come to the table. SB kissed her cheek as he rubbed her belly.

"I love you."

"I know, but you don't have to keep saying it."

"Daddy, I want cotton candy in my drink."

"Okay, Macy."

"Mommy, When will the baby come?"

"In March baby."

"Oh, is that far away?"

"No, 5 months."

"That's long time."

"Not really baby..."

"Nic, baby..."

"Safaree, I'm trying to talk to my baby."

"Ugh.."

He huffed putting his arm on the table. Nicki was being nonchalant with him. He looked towards the kitchen and waited for the food. Nicki went back to talking to Macy. SB got bored and began rubbing and kissing on her again. She grabbed his hand and pushed it in his lap. He whispered in her ear.

"Why you being like that with me?"

"Like what?"

"Won't let me touch you.."

"You didn't want to touch me before."

"Man..."

"That's how I felt."

She whispered back. Macy stood up in the seat and yelled out about the food coming. Nicki pulled her down and scolded her. Macy smirked up at her, but it quickly disappeared seeing that Nicki face didn't change.

"Here you guys orders."

"Thank you and could I get another water and some more cotton candy."

"Yes, ma'am, I'll be right back."

SB looked over at her and nudged her a little. She rolled her eyes over his way and sighed loudly. He is pissing me off. He treated me like shit for four months and when I give him a taste of his own medicine, he aggs the fuck out of me. She pulled the napkin out of its wrap around the silverware and put it on Macy's neck.

"I thought this was so we could talk."

"Talk then, I'm all fucking ears."

"Wassup with the attitude?"

"What was up with yours the last few months?"

"Nic, I was hurt..."

"And I wasn't? My husband didn't look at me, touch me, was flat out rude to me and disgusted by me for months."

"I'm sorry, baby, you know I'd do everything differently if..."

"No! You knew...."

Nicki quieted down as the waiter came back and gave her a water and handed her the bag of cotton candy. SB looked at her then at his lap. Third dinner and it's still not turning out like I want it to. Man, she got to know I'm sorry and all that shit I did was out of anger. They both watched as he left the table.

"Anyways you knew what happen to me and you weren't there for me! I'm still hurting from that and then you add to it because your own selfishness. Safaree, you could of held me those nights you heard me crying or the times I came to you and told you I needed you, but you didn't!"

"I'm sorry baby, what can I do to make this up to you?"

"Feel my hurt."

She said not looking his way and barely touching her food. Macy sat in her own world playing and eating her spaghetti. Nicki wiped her mouth and grabbed the fork to feed her.

"You really gone make me pay for that?"

"You stressed me out! Why shouldn't I?"

"You don't understand what I was going through.."

"And you didn't understand what I was going through! You acted like it was easy for me to say I'm just going to carry my rapist child and love it unconditionally. You don't ever have to have an attachment to a child like I do! So spare me that bullshit Safaree. You just bluntly treated me like shit and for what reason, I will never know, but no I'm not letting you off that easy. I'm ready to leave now."

Macy looked at her and grabbed some spaghetti with her fingers and shoved it in her mouth. Nicki smiled watching her scoot out and stuff her mouth. Greedy ass lil girl. SB followed closely behind her. I should of know she would do something to get me back. He sighed as he opened the door for them and they made their way to the car.

Nicki stood in the labor classes with SB by her side. They had an outside session today, so everyone was dressed for the cold weather.

"Mates, I need you front in center and ready to help. Mommies, I need you to stand with your belly in front of your partner."

Nicki stood in front of him and grabbed his head looking into dark brown eyes. She breathed in slow and steady as she let him go and go on her knees in front of him. They held hands and tried to connect.

"Mommies and Daddies, should be able to silently read each other and know the others character, so the baby will have a connection with both parents."

"Nicki, I'm sorry for these last few months, but I miss you."

"You did this Faree, you don't think I miss you?"

"No, you act like I'm the worse person ever."

"You treated me like I was the most disgusting person ever."

"I never thought that."

"You showed it.

He helped her up and stood behind her as she took a deep breath then exhaled bending over. He rubbed her back as she bent over and squated. The instructor came over and scooted SB to the side as he touched between Nic's thighs.

"Spread them Ms. Nicki."

"Okay, Calven."

She opened her legs some more as he slid under them as if she was weight he was about to push up. He grabbed her thighs as she went up then down.

"Yo, dawg."

"My bad."

Nicki smirked as SB took his spot. He looked into her face and sucked his teeth.

"You play too much."

"You seem angry."

"What was that? How long you been doing shit like that?"

"Nothing, just do that."

"Naw."

"Then I'll just have...."

"Alright."

SB tossed and turned laying in the guest bedroom. He couldn't sleep in this bed without her. He looked at the clock then made his way up the stairs. He was tired of sleeping in the guest room. It had been two months and felt he had suffered enough. Six months without her touch was making him nuts. He looked around the bedroom to see her still sleep. He softly walked to the bed and got in. He wrapped his arms around her and snuggled close to her.

"Faree?"

"Yeah."

"Rub my tummy."

He rubbed where she placed his hand and felt a small hit. He kept going and the more he rubbed the more the baby kicked. She smiled feeling them bonding at her poor bladders expense.

"Baby.."

SB started but was interrupted by her need to throw up. She wobbled to the bathroom quickly to relieve herself. I'm not ready to forgive him, but I miss his mean ass. She sat on the toilet making sure that there would be no more throw up. He walked in and sat on the tub in front of her.

"You look beautiful."

"Stop lying, I look like shit."

"You look perfect."

"I think I want to give up the baby."

He leaped up off the tub and hit his heel on the side of it. Did she really fucking say that? This has to be a gahtdamm nightmare. He snapped his fingers, pinched hisself and slapped himself two times. No, we're fucking woke.

"What the fuck you mean giving my child away?"

"I been made the decision when you were acting like an ass, I already have a family, who wants a child..."

"NO, FUCK THAT ONIKA, DON'T FUCK WITH ME RIGHT NOW!!"

"I'm not. I didn't even think the kid was yours and neither did you, so don't go yelling at me."

He punch the wall and Nicki jumped from it crumbling. Maddy ran in with her hair everywhere. She looked with sleepy eyes between the both of them. Nicki sat on the toilet with a smirk on her face as SB stormed out.

"What's going on?"

"Nothing go back to bed, babe."

"You sure, Mommy, will you be alright?"

"Sure will, love you."

"Love you too."

She left the room as Nicki made her way to her bed and laid there laughing at his reaction. I'll just let him think that until March.
